While every blogger certainly is not a writer, I’d say every writer these days is a blogger. Journaling is so 1990s, so all of us who are true writers at heart have merely taken their dusty, well-loved journals and taken them online.
Since I can write all day long, and I would hate to lose my street cred, here you have Purple Ink – my online scribblings on the writes and wrongs of my work and life.
Here is where you’ll read my thoughts on everything from fighting writer’s block to fighting burnout when balancing work and family. Where, if you care to know, you can learn more about the woman you’ve hired and who I am once I’m off the clock.
Sometimes these posts will be quill-and-parchment-worthy ruminations on the craft of writing and editing; other times, they’ll be little more than inkblots. But I promise they will always be authentically me.
Editor and Cheif, writer, editorial consultant, mother, sister, daughter and wordsmith extroidinare Kelley M Butler brings to you The Purple Quill. Read more or write me a note.
